We sent off 1,524  boxes from Luxembourg at the end of November 2025 and €18,300 (as at 3.12.25) had been donated to cover transportation and project expenses!

Thanks to your generosity, we are sending LOVE, HOPE and JOY to children and their families. Many boxes were beautifully and thoughtfully packed. WELL DONE!

In 2026 we celebrate 30 years of sending boxes from Europe to Eastern Europe and during those years we have gifted 10,5 million boxes!  The parcels from German-speaking countries mainly go to Eastern Europe, primarily for logistical reasons. Year after year, we receive wonderful feedback about the impact your lovingly packed shoeboxes have on the children and their families.

Since 1993, more than 244 million children in more than 175 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.

For 2026 and 2027, the recipient countries we can name are (others cannot be named for security reasons): Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine
