These photos were taken by the Trier co-ordinator for the German branch of Operation Christmas Child, when he joined a multiple distribution initiative of boxes in December 2015.  The Luxembourg boxes were not part of this distribution, however, he was able to take a Luxembourg box with him to deliver personally (see the box was flagged with a large yellow sticker).

This is the story of a Luxembourg shoebox, from its packing to its delivery.  The story is especially moving as the hat and scarf were knitted by the ladies with much love (not only for this box but for many others too).  The box was then packed and sent to the dispatch centre in Trier.  Ranier, the responsible person at the Trier dispatch centre, took the box with him when he travelled to Romania in December 2015 to participate in the distribution of the Romanian shoeboxes.
