Results
Many many people are now involved and checking each box remains a very time-consuming but vital part of the project. A special thanks to the volunteers that came to help with:
- Distributing boxes and sharing this project amongst friends, family and colleagues
- Covering normal shoeboxes with colourful paper
- Dropping off extra contents for boxes, like school stationery, soap, face-cloths and cuddly toys
- Collecting, checking boxes and dropping off boxes
- Delivering, loading and unloading boxes
Additional Information
Every box needs to be checked against a list of authorised and prohibited items provided by the organisation. Prohibited items are removed and are donated as follows:
Biscuits - Esperanza House (Teen Challenge project)
Sweets and chocolates - Stemm vun der Stroos
Used toys and clothing - Croix Rouge
